Zu Beginn der vierten Staffel gleich ein erstes Highlight möchte ich behaupten. In dieser Folge spreche ich mit Gerhard Grüll und Sylvia Polleres über ihre neuen Aufgabenbereiche und die Zukunft der Holzforschung Austria. Am 1. Jänner 2024 hat Privatdozent Dr. Gerhard Grüll die Institutsleitung sowie Geschäftsführung der Holzforschung Austria (HFA) übernommen und damit Dr. Manfred Brandstätter abgelöst, der die Geschicke des Institutes mehr als 20 Jahre lang geleitet hat und in den verdienten Ruhestand geht. Nach einem Projektstart im Juli 2023 wurde dieses am 13. Oktober 2023 offiziell an der TU Wien eröffent. Darin sollen Verfahren zur Herstellung und Charakterisierung nachhaltiger Biokompositmaterialien auf der Basis von Sägenebenprodukten entwickelt werden. Das Projekt erfolgt im Zusammenarbeit mitder HS Timber Group . Diese Folge wurde 8.November 2023 aufgezeichnet.
