Slam the Gavel welcomes Wren Byrd from California to the podcast. Wren talked about her path through the corrupt family court with a biased judge, Judge James Bertoli who laughed at her and mocked her in court. Apparently, Judge James Bertoli also has a band where clerks participate in called, "Courtn' Disaster." He has left the bench to pursue his dreams of becoming a musician. The legal abuse and domestic violence has caused Wren to have extreme multiple hospitalizations for a stomach ulcer and Lupus.
The legal abuse was non-stop, the judge and opposing Attorney Robert Montgomery, as well as Veronica Pineda, LMSW effectively turned her son against her while the father controlled the school districts and Wren explained how her ex routinely collects child support out of her disability. That's the lowest he could go....Or is it?

Today we discussed Our Children Matter Most, Inc. where Riti Chikkerur is Executive Director of the OCMM, a non-profit and in the process of restructuring as a Benefit Corporation and collaborates with NAACP. Why can't doing good be profitable? Because it is solution based. Riti is in the process of going to law school. TILA-LABS (Trauma Informed Legal Advocacy) was discussed which provides holistic approach and solutions to the parents and also to the legal community. This will include nutrition, legal, spiritual and mental health. They will soon be launching TILA-LABS, a one-stop holistic trauma informed view on a parent's situation, helping to resolve it. Attorney Kelly March, in Colorado since 2010, began to see how corrupt and backwards some situations can get in the family courts. Slam the Gavel welcomes Jamus Bryant to the podcast. His case is very unique as his ex is in the Air Force and has absconded with his child from Colorado, telling the courts she was going to Japan. In 2021, Judge Bonnie McLean in Colorado disregarded the order of shared parenting and listening to opposing counsel explain that the mother is relocating to Japan and this is a "matter of national security." When in fact she had gone to Ohio. From there she was deployed overseas, but her parents have his child. Jamus has filed motions in Ohio and Pennsylvania and they have not been heard. This father hasn't seen his daughter since 2021 and has only seen her on one video visit where the mother interfered in telling the child that her father doesn’t love her. Child psychological abuse and abduction is happening in broad daylight, and the judges involved in Jamus's case don't care. Mr. Weigel is a top Fixed Income money manager in New York who comes to us via his advocacy work, a pretty far way from Wall St. Dave is more well known to some as the Family Court Fraud Warrior on social media (Facebook) and in the press. His divorce in New York is going into it’s 14th year this month. After suffering 12 years of legal abuse, he decided to take his analysis of what he calls the most blatant Government Sponsored Racketeering system to the Court of Public Opinion. For the last 2 years, he’s been highlighting to an ever growing audience the play by play of what he calls this Business Model of Fraud. With a slew of other victims found from around the country, his newest initiative is to unite all victims nationwide into a single voice demanding change by calculating the data provided directly from these victims. Dave Weigel hopes his Wall Street experience in data mining and financial analysis can finally bring the needed transparency of this system to affect real change. Slam the Gavel welcomes Investigative Journalist Richard Luthmann to the podcast. We discussed the case of Monica Ciardi who has been jailed in Essex County, New Jersey Correctional Facility. WHY is this 110 lb. woman STILL jailed over 180 days in Essex County, the seat of Newark NJ, one of worst jail population and not being treated medically? What happened was, Judge Peter Bogaard, in Morris County, NJ, had stated in family court to Monica, "If you don't do what I say, you'll never see your children again." Monica then quoted him on Facebook, but forgot to put the phrase in quotations. Judge Bogaard took it as a "terroristic threat" against his own children. She was then arrested and now jailed unlawfully for exercising her First Amendment rights. Monica is not in good health while she sits in jail at taxpayers expense on the whim of a judge. The family court judges have a habit of not looking at evidence, disregarding Pro Se's and relying on hearsay. We discussed Cancel Culture and how it evolved, which explains how society has deteriorated and families being torn apart. Today we talked about the Frost case: In 2022, El Paso County in Colorado Springs, Colorado, placed four siblings into the homes of their mother and their aunt. Both women were living with registered sex offenders. Three months later, they received a call from the youngest child's school about the boy's terrible physical battering. The Court DID NOT admonish Department of Human Services for their neglectful failure to investigate the women's homes before sending children to them. The judge DID NOT accuse them of reckless child endangerment. Instead, the Court congratulated the Department of Human Services for the good job they had done in the emergency situation they handled at the time! It appears that this judge doesn't know the difference between a safe parent and a crafted scheme to take children from him and put them into a child sex trafficking ring. Instead,in December 2024, she terminated the parental rights of the protective FATHER of the of the children. She ignored the fact that he had contacted the pollice more than 15 times in the two years leading up to the department removing the children from him over allegations that were founded to be false. We will be looking at the documents that show that the department engineered a no-fault plea arrangement that was never made by the father, and the criminal records of the perpetrators that were ignored.
