We can also experience a deterioration in our ability to maintain a growth mindset to remain oriented towards what’s possible in terms of healing. We might give up and give in, and enter a spiral into lower frequency emotions and a cascade of ability losses. In this episode, we’ll learn about a powerful tool from two UNC psychology experts called the Post-Traumatic Growth Inventory that we can use to better evaluate and celebrate the ways we’ve transformed post diagnosis, as well as illuminate potential pathways we might explore to achieve further growth, enlightenment, and healing.
