We delve into her history growing up with a craniofacial abnormality, surgeries, and Hashimotos, and how people's behavior shaped her life as a young girl. Dealing with bullying, PTSD, depression, and anxiety, as well as sleep paralysis episodes complicated things. We discuss her book They Only Come Out At Night. Is sleep paralysis related to our body's natural fight/flight/freeze/fawn/flop stages? Do we get stuck in certain states of the process? What do the different brain types have to do with it?
