The Book of Hebrews, Part 64: Keeping On Keeping On I (Heb. 12:1-17)

We have seen that the writer of Hebrews admonishes us to “run the race” with patience as he begins chapter 12. He goes on to encourage us to this same patience, which simply means “keeping on keeping on”, while giving us some important encouragement about that very kind of faith. First he tells us that Jesus is with us, so we ought to keep on keeping on. Then he tells us that even the chastening of God should encourage us, for that is evidence that we indeed ARE children of God! Join us today for the first half of this message on “patience.”
