On the rest of the menu, health clinics scramble to divert patients as states’ “trigger bans” on abortions kick in; the Michigan Supreme Court threw out the charges against former Governor Rick Snyder and others in the Flint water scandal; and, and in a slap to the face, New York City Mayor Eric Adams suggested that Rudy Giuliani be investigated for filing a false police report.
After the break, we move to the Chef’s Table where Scotland leader Nicola Sturgeon proposed a new independence vote in October of 2023; and, for the first time, the French parliament elected a woman as its speaker.
