Investigators initially focused on Ricky Simonds Sr., her fiancé's father, who had a criminal past and had driven her to the hospital earlier that day. However, Simonds Sr. died unexpectedly two months later. Fraley's disappearance remains unsolved, with theories pointing to foul play by Simonds Sr., her bipolar disorder possibly influencing her actions, or involvement by an unknown person she knew.
