Good morning, weather watchers! This is your local meteorological maestro coming to you with the latest forecast for the Columbus area.
Today's looking like a cloudy canvas with temperatures hovering around a chilly 34 degrees Fahrenheit. The winds will be doing a little dance, starting light and then picking up to about 5 to 10 miles per hour from the south. Better grab that jacket!
Tonight's got a bit of winter drama brewing. We're looking at a slight chance of drizzle, snow, and freezing rain playing peek-a-boo throughout the early morning hours. Temperatures will dip down to around 26 degrees Fahrenheit, with southwest winds whirling around 9 miles per hour.
Monday's going to be a real temperature rollercoaster. We'll start cloudy and then clear up to mostly sunny, but don't get too excited - temperatures will tumble down to a brisk 20 degrees Fahrenheit by late afternoon. West winds will be cruising at 9 to 13 miles per hour.
As we roll into Monday night, expect partly cloudy skies with temperatures plummeting to a teeth-chattering 8 degrees Fahrenheit. Wind chill values might make it feel like negative 2 degrees - time to break out those extra layers!
Tuesday brings a slight chance of snow after 1 pm, with partly sunny skies and a high near 17 degrees Fahrenheit. West winds will be gusting up to 21 miles per hour, so hold onto your hats!
The rest of the week looks like a winter wonderland with mostly sunny to partly cloudy conditions, temperatures dancing between 17 and 36 degrees Fahrenheit. We've got a good chance of snow midweek and some rain rolling in by Friday and Saturday.
