Good morning, weather watchers! Bundle up because winter is throwing a serious tantrum across Columbus, Ohio.
We've got a Winter Storm Warning in effect, so let's break down what Mother Nature has in store for us. Tonight, expect a chilly dance of snow and sleet, with temperatures dropping to around 21 degrees. Those northeast winds will be howling at about 13 miles per hour, and we're looking at a potential 3 to 5 inches of wintry mix.
Monday continues the cold carnival, with snow likely before 5 pm. Temperatures will struggle to reach a high of 29 degrees, with northeast winds gusting up to 30 miles per hour. Another 1 to 2 inches of snow is on the menu.
The rest of the week looks like a parade of cold and cloudy conditions. Tuesday will offer a brief glimpse of partly sunny skies with a high near 26 degrees. Wednesday might tease us with a few snow showers, and temperatures will hover in the low to mid 20s.
As we roll into the weekend, expect mostly cloudy skies with a chance of snow and temperatures bouncing between the teens and high 20s.
Pro tip: layers, hot drinks, and a sense of humor are your best friends this week, Columbus!
