Welcome to another exciting episode of The Wealth of Geeks Podcast! This episode we have our superb host, Sarah Gilliland opening up this week's geeky debate: The X-men VS Avengers Showdown! She is joined by our notable guests: Jason Butler, the author and founder of My Money chronicles.com, who focuses on finances and side hustles, and Clint Worthington, the founder and editor-in-Chief of the Spool and a senior writer at Consequence of Sound, who is also a Rotten Tomato certified critic.
Jason explains that his love for X-Men started in the mid-nineties when he subscribed to comic books and watched the X-Men cartoon TV show.
Clint shares his background as an Avengers fan. He mentions collecting comic books in the early to mid-nineties and following the Incredible Hulk comics. Clint mentions being skeptical at first but eventually became a huge fan of the Avengers, especially after the release of Ironman in 2008.
Sarah expresses her own enthusiasm as a comic book hero fan, although her interest did not start with comics.
The conversation revolves around Jason and Clint's respective interests in X-Men and the Avengers. The duo shared background information on their fandom and set the stage for the debate!

He created My Money Chronicles to document his debt reduction journey, talk about travel, and discuss finances and side hustles. He believes people should be educated about money, which is often taboo.
