Dr Alex Warwick (University of Westminster) examines the figure of the zombie in the context of the contemporary Gothic. The discussion considers the figure of the zombie in contemporary culture, suggesting that the zombie monster is of a very different kind to those found in the Gothic and offers ways in which we might read the zombie in an apocalyptic narrative. The talk is followed by a short Q&A session.
