We interview Christopher Hooder, the United Nations climate security and environmental advisor to Somalia, on the importance of observing the international Mother’s Day, the main areas of UN’s focus on the environment in Somalia and what is being done to address climate change in Somalia. We also interview Abdirashid Artan from Somalia’s ministry of environment about climate change, deforestation, the surge of heatwaves and what the Somali government is doing to address these issues.
