In today’s episode I interviewed Ruthi Hanchett. She has been a leader in the field of human rights for over 10 years, focusing on child rights, human trafficking, and gender equality. While working for World Vision International, she represented the organization to global political leaders including the UN Human Rights Council. She helps children and youth around the globe to speak out for justice.
In this interview she shares what exactly human trafficking is, examples of slavery still happening today, how our choices for the food we eat, the clothes we wear and the products we buy may be supporting human trafficking (and how to fix this), and much more.
