Transmusic Airwaves presents WKSU-FM’s Fresh Air special #3. As listeners to Transmusic Airwaves have heard before, many of us here started our music experience from listening to Fresh Air on WKSU between 1971 and 1981. This is not the interview program from NPR, but a freeform music program offered after midnight on WKSU. This is a 2 hour fragment (2am to 4am) from the original 6-hour broadcast of January 21, 1978 hosted by Evelyn St. Clair. This is all that we have of this show, captured by a listener who shared the recording for inclusion to the Fresh Air Archives. See below for more information about Fresh Air. With the heat of summer well upon us, talk of a snow storm that shut down Kent State University’s campus should keep things cool.
