(CB’s answer) After some troubles at school, a young E. is sent to live with his father, Bender, in tough 1980’s South Central Los Angeles. He grows up learning the ways of the Force. As a young man, although his hard-nosed father instilled proper values and respect in him, and his devout girlfriend Audrey II teaches him about faith, E's friends Elliott and Gizmo don't have the same kind of support and are drawn into the neighborhood's booming drug and gang culture, with increasingly tragic results.
