Essence of Hip Hop is an acclaimed Hip Hop Artist based in Atlanta, GA. Essence of Hip Hop first began her journey in 2013. Her vision extended to her younger daughter, LIL Essence of Hip Hop. Essence had a hard time finding childcare while she was pursing her dreams. Instead of giving up, she would bring her children, age 2 & 3, with her to promote her music. One day, during one of her live performances, her daughter started rapping and performing with her. They've been a mother/daughter duo ever since. This talented mother overcame countless obstacles on the way up, and works hard every day in order to keep their musical dream alive. This IS the Essence of Hip Hop.
