Paws for Thought:
- Paul's trip from Cuba to Cochabamba, Bolivia, was about 4,800 kilometres. That is similar to the distance between Halifax, Nova Scotia, and Vancouver, British Columbia. What's the longest trip you have taken? How did you travel?
- Have you ever been on a picnic with your family or with your church family? You can have a picnic indoors anytime. Spread a blanket on the floor and ask someone in your family to get a snack for you to enjoy together. You can thank God before you have your snack by singing in English and also in Spanish: "Praise ye the Lord! Hallelujah!" (sing this line three times), "Praise ye the Lord!" (Spanish, "Gracias, Señor! Hallelujah!" [sing this line three times], "Gracias, Señor!").
- Paul prayed for the children he had met that day. Did you know you can pray for someone even if you don't know them well? What sorts of things could you pray about?
- Sometimes people clap along or move their bodies when singing songs to worship God. Why not sing a simple worship song and make up some movements to go along with your song?
