The Dubai real estate market is on the rise amidst a global decline. Apartments in Dubai sell for an average of 1,300 dirhams per square foot, villas at 1,580 per square foot and the Palm Jumeirah properties are exchanging hands at 5,520 Dirhams per square foot. The resilience of the market is simultaneously baffling and understandable - a comprehensible contradiction to the state of the world.
