Good morning, weather watchers! This is your weather update for the Dallas area.
We've got a foggy start to the day with some interesting shifts coming up. Overnight, expect patchy fog and temperatures holding steady around 51 degrees Fahrenheit. Those west northwest winds will be gentle, barely whispering at around 5 miles per hour.
Sunday brings a morning fog show that'll clear out by midday, giving way to a beautiful afternoon with temperatures climbing to a delightful 70 degrees Fahrenheit. Those calm winds will start to dance from the southwest at about 5 miles per hour.
Monday is looking like a stunner with abundant sunshine and temperatures reaching near 76 degrees Fahrenheit. Watch out for those afternoon winds that could gust up to 20 miles per hour!
The week ahead looks like a temperature rollercoaster. We'll see a cool down by Tuesday, with highs dipping to around 57 degrees Fahrenheit, and New Year's Day bringing a crisp 54 degrees Fahrenheit.
Heads up, we've got a Dense Fog Advisory in effect, so take it slow on the roads this morning.
Looking ahead, we're expecting mostly clear skies with temperatures hovering between the mid 30s and high 50s throughout the week.
