It might be time to book a trip. J.D. Power revealed its rankings for the best and worst North American airports. In the headlines on #TheUpdate this Monday, The Israeli military has intensified airstrikes in Gaza including near its largest hospital. Thousands of people broke into aid warehouses in the besieged enclave, desperate for food and basic items. Meanwhile, Two days after cellular and internet service abruptly vanished for most of Gaza amid a heavy Israeli bombardment, the crowded enclave came back online as communications systems were gradually restored.

Locally, New York City is intensifying efforts to transport migrants out of the city as its shelter system reaches capacity. Girls consistently are outperforming boys, graduating at higher rates at public high schools around the country. And for the second year in a row, U.S. shoppers are seeing double-digit inflation in the candy aisle. 🎃🍫
