Kelley created Homie Cafe in May of 2018 and just closed the door for the final time on Sunday. Kelley is a lifelong resident of Manhattan Beach and literally poured her heart and soul into creating Homie. We will talk about growing up in MB, bringing her vision of Homie to life in 2018, doing business in MB and during the pandemic, closing it this past weekend, and the journey along the way. From the famous pink velvet sofa that served as the best hangout spot for any age, to the 28,891 Honey Lavender Lattes served to the 37,314 breakfast burritos they pumped out in less than 3 years, the conversation will be rich, real, and soulful.
