The Advent Calendar follows a time-honored trope: be-careful-what-you-wish-for. A Monkey paw tale, if you will. writer/director Patrick Ridremont tries to come up with a few variations on this familiar narrative. But does The Advent Calendar become a fun yuletide shocker or noise in the background? Plus, we go back to TV Corner and check out THE FALL OF THE HOUSE USHER season 1 episode 8!
