So, this week we are going to discuss the two man superhero duo Talib Kweli & Mos Def better known as Blackstar. In 1998, both having individual LP's that were about to drop, they decided to postpone there their individual projects and decided instead to collaborate on a full-length LP. This release entitled "Mos Def & Talib Kweli Are Black Star" would embody an all-star Hip-Hop cast of producers from Hi-Tek to J Rawls to Da Beatminerz. The two have been hailed by many to be one of the top 5 classic hip hop Duo's of all time.
Artist and Stop Being Famous contributor Yasiin Bey had the following statement to share regarding the Eric Garner grand jury decision, ongoing unrest in Ferguson, Missouri and around the world. Bey also takes time to address nasty comments made about him in the comment section of World Star.
