Garland started his career in real estate by dealing with Single Family Residences (SFR). During the 2008 recession, he demonstrated his strategic skills by successfully closing over $2 billion of real estate transactions. He focused on distressed assets and "workout turnarounds" in the SFR and commercial sectors, which helped him become a top originator in California. His outstanding performance earned him recognition in the prestigious Top Producer Magazine. Garland oversees a $100M debt fund for 1st Trust Deed bridge loans.
