TRC: Ep. 95 Limitless

This week we recast Limitless. We had mixed feelings about this one. It feels like it could have been more fun. Other than DiNero phoning it in, the rest of the performances are passable but the story just doesn't add up. Bradley Cooper, who is Mr. Likeable, was not likeable at all in this movie. The part was just poorly written. There are no sympathetic characters for the audience to relate to. There is no one to root for.

Ultimately, we thought that this was a good concept, wasted. We explore some ideas on how to improve the story but a lot of the issues are things that needed to be removed, not added. The tone of the movie was just off.

We still had fun talking about it.
