The researcher sent me to Bernis, who has established herself as one of the experts in growing hascaps in The States. I think perennial fruits are one of the most delightful things in the world and it's super exciting to me that there are more out there than what most consumers or even farmers know about. I'm appreciative of people like Bernis who have worked to develop systems that can make these crops profitable, not just for the home gardeners and to the breeders who have developed these new varieties.
