The Sovereignty of God - 1918 - From all eternity God designed that our world should be the stage on which He would display His manifold grace and wisdom in the redemption of lost sinners: "To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God, According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Eph 3:10-11). For the accomplishment of this glorious design God has governed the world from the beginning, and will continue it to the end.
