About Matthew Hurski and the Take My Hand Foundation:

Mental health and mental health-related injuries are often overlooked in our society, particularly within first responder departments. While support for preventative and post-incident treatment has improved, it remains insufficient. The Take My Hand Foundation aims to create a robust support system, providing post-incident mental health support, especially for those first responders lacking financial resources for treatment. Additionally, they are building a network of first responders for peer support.

The foundation also offers a t-shirt line to raise funds for its programs, ensuring that first responders throughout East Tennessee receive the support they need.
