I had the great honor to play with Toots Thielemans for 10 years, he passed away in 2016 and the last years I have been doing a Toots tribute all over the world with many outstanding harmonica players. In these episodes - Echoes of Toots Thielemans - I talk to harmonica players about their musical journey, how Toots influenced their music and how they find their own voice on the Harmonica with such an influential musician like Toots.
In this Episode I talk to Hendrik Meurkens, originally from Germany but now living in New York since 30 years, Hendrik is a highly sought after Harmonica Player in New York City and the rest of the world. He is also an outstanding Vibraphone player.
