Man, I feel bad.

All the young kids today are missing out on the most FUN part about breaking that all the kids from the 80s and 90s got to do (like me!)...

And that was watching music videos all day, eyes glued to the TV ready with the VCR to smash that "record" button every time a two second clip of a windmill came on, and playing and rewinding those clips over and over again to figure out the move, only to do it not quite the same way.

Ok, I'm sure if someone from today (like the kid version of Jussi ) went back in time to do that, they wouldn't have had so much fun, but believe me when I say that when breaking first came out, it was special.

Because today's guest is someone who went through the same struggle and 30 years later is STILL doing it, became known as "The Walking Google of Hip Hop" in his country, and instead of getting tired of it, has found new ways to grow his love for the culture.

I'm talking about b-boy Jurskee from Holland.

With a background in philosophy who, during the pandemic, started a diploma program for breaking in Holland, this episode's a good one to listen to.

I pick his brain on the single biggest difference between breaking in the 90s and today that no one's really talking about, what the 3 year full-time breaking diploma program is like and how it can help you become a professional breaker, and how judging systems might actually be a good thing for breaking.

You don't want to miss this one.
