In this special episode, we invited the University of Maryland Extension-Sea Grant Watershed Restoration Specialist, Jen Dindinger to talk about rain barrels, rain gardens, and stormwater management. Jen gives the how to’s on using and maintaining rain barrels. Here’s a great video on rain barrels and rain gardens. More importantly, Jen walks us through the complex issues revolving around the Chesapeake Bay Watershed and how homeowners can manage stormwater on their property to help protect the Bay.
