Why The Law of Attraction is a BS mentality to take into business.

I told you it was going to be a controversial one! So I might as well come right out and say it. The Law of Attraction is a dangerous mentality to enter into business with.
If you're not familiar:
"The Law of Attraction is a philosophy suggesting that positive thoughts bring positive results into a person's life, while negative thoughts bring negative outcomes. It is based on the belief that thoughts are a form of energy and that positive energy attracts success in all areas of life, including health, finances, and relationships." (source: verywellmind.com).
On this level, it's pretty hard to argue that The Law of Attraction could ever possibly be a bad thing, right?
As always, let's go deeper. Much deeper.
According to The Secret, a book which is the work of several collaborators and was also made into a Netflix film/documentary (check it out if you fancy a cheap laugh).
Apparently, your thoughts move into the universe and interact with the physical world (In a more extreme way than you being in a ratty mood and snapping at someone and them thinking you're a tosser) The Secret tells us that if we want something the universe bends around us to magically serve up whatever you want, on a plate right in front of you, and that you can order anything you want from the Universe's "catalogue" so long as you believe it's true. And if you don't get all your wildest dreams on a golden platter? "You didn't-believe hard enough" (or buy enough of The Secret's merch)
Now this reminds me of the scam artist faith healers who are prominent throughout the US who promise to save your child from terminal cancer if you donate enough money and simply believe enough.
This is the toxic mentality. This is what I see a lot of people carrying into business.
People with no business foundation, no marketing strategy and no business plan diving into business and expect everything to work out just because they have a good mindset and they "asked the universe"
