The affirmation trap can be characterized by positive thinking about oneself to cause us to believe better things about who we are, and what we can accomplish. By believing positive things about ourselves, we will feel more positive about who we are and that will ultimately lead us to success. Affirmation can also be a trap we fall prey to by becoming a slave to the affirmation of others. In this episode, I discuss the dangers of the affirmation trap, and how we as believers should approach this topic from a biblical perspective.
