Additionally, the Karoo platform provides patient monitoring for cardiology practices that integrates into the electronic medical record (EMR) to help identify patients at risk for an exacerbation of their disease possibly requiring an emergency room visit. Ian announces Karoo's recent successful oversubscribed $3.4 million fund raise and provides advice for medtech entrepreneurs looking to raise capital from venture capital.
