Carter was there with 18-year-old Akyra Murray of Philadelphia, who was the youngest shooting victim to die in the attack. Patience Carter takes listeners through that terrifying night, and how she is helping other trauma victims move forward. She also previews her upcoming book “Survive Then Live”, which will be released in June.
