Jesus actually made it easy for us by being so straightforward. By declaring many
times and in various ways that he and the Father are one, He leaves us with just one primary
thought or question to consider – “Who do you say that I am?” This is the most important
question, thought process, and decision in anyone’s life – indeed, this is the beginning of the
ground we can walk on to actually answer the question “what is the meaning of life?”. It is
therefore time to speak of wisdom, something to be approached with all humility.
