173. Sheryl Smith, Host of The engAGING Conversations Podcast

Sheryl has been an RN for almost 4 decades, with the majority of her career spent in
direct patient care. She is the host of the podcast, engAGING Conversations, found
under her name, Sheryl Smith RN (that’s Sheryl with an S!) wherever you listen to your
podcasts.
Sheryl has always considered herself a strong patient advocate. Through her podcast,
she is advocating for not only patients, but their families as well. By encouraging early
dialogue about end of life choices and providing resources for ALL kinds of things one
needs to know about aging parents and end of life, her goal is quality. Whatever that
means to the individual.
She obtained her BSN from The University of Delaware and her M.Ed from Cambridge
College. She has been married to Mark for 33 years, and is the mother to two adult
children, Kyle 30, Kara 28, and her Puerto Rican rescue dog, Bali who is 3 1/2.
