Chris Walla is a musical all rounder. He was a member of Death Cab For Cutie for 17 years and produced all their records during that time while also playing in the band AND writing songs, that’s a lot of jobs in one! These days he is producing records, songwriting, mentoring, being an all around legend and lovely guy. We sat down to talk about the elusive ’Smash’, piano teachers sucking the fun out of learning music when you’re a kid, singing your heart out until you pass out and plenty more.
