This project is to be placed in Santa Barbara, California, a city rich in diving and maritime history. This beautiful statue stands in honor of the pioneers worldwide in the diving industry. We also learn a little bit about Don Barthelmess' dive career and his record breaking dives. Leslie also tells us about how he came to start the Historical Dive Society in Santa Barbara.
