After enduring a career-ending head injury, Chris has dedicated his professional life to serving patients and families affected by brain trauma, particularly Chronic traumatic encephalopathy, or CTE, a progressive neurodegenerative disease that develops after repeated head injuries. Our 501c3 organization was Founded in 2011 and became a 501c3 in 2012. Our Mission is to integrate autistic children and their families back into the community using love and support. To begin our initiative we created an awareness presentation entitled Life on a Spectrum, a parents Journey through the life of Autism presented by founder Cricket Barrientos. The presentation will educate people about Autism and will share experiences about what individuals affected by autism go through everyday. "Our hope is to bring a VOICE to the largest epidemic in the USA and teach people how to become a "RESPONDER of AUTISM" It is the voice of our responders that will help spread awareness and contribute to the education of Autism according to Founder Cricket Barrientos. We believe it takes a community to raise an Autistic child and together we can make a difference in the lives of those who struggle with Spectrum Disorder. Our presentations are complimentary to allow all communitites to participate. We will use our proceeds to fund our Life on a Spectrum presentation, the Evan McCure Grant, Music Production, Life Skills Educational Autism Series Flash cards and RESPONDERS UNITE CAMPAIGN.
