Hi! My name is Ben Hodges, and welcome to the BH Drum Pod, presented by the BH Drum Academy.
This is a podcast where you can come and learn everything about my favorite instrument to play, the drums!
I am a current public high school teacher, and I have been a musician for almost 20 years now.
Whether you are brand new to drums, working on developing your skills, or want to take your drumming to the next level, this podcast will have something for you!
As a teacher, I understand how people learn in all different ways, and I directly applied this into developing an online drum lesson resource called BH Drum Academy. This podcast is another great way to learn about playing drums.
On the BH Drum Pod we talk about everything that will help you learn how to be a “good” drummer. Good drummers truly understand the power that drums have on music. We’ll talk basic drumming vocabulary, tips on what to do, lots of how-to’s like how to fix common problems in your drumming, and we’ll talk to local musicians and other drummers to share their ideas and experiences with everything drums. And I’ll definitely answer your questions you send in.
