I heard this story from dad when I was in school. It has stayed with me and when I decided to start narrating stories, this was the first one to come to my mind.
The episode narrates the story of a wise merchant who used his presence of mind, common sense and wisdom to escape an adverse situation and turn it in his favor.
It also compares the response of a greedy merchant to the same situation and how he creates devastation, catastrophe and disaster for himself as well as his accompanying men.
