Bernard Taylor is a Democrat running for Congress in Florida’s 21st District. He is an EMT/Paramedic and community advocate running to “fight for affordable healthcare, stronger education, and economic stability that works for everyone. With a commitment to integrity, transparency, and real leadership, Bernard is ready to put the needs of Florida’s families first.”
We discussed his reasons for running, what he wants to do for the people in his district, and the American Small Business League’s reasons for wanting Congress to raise from 5% to 15% the federal contract dollars that must go to women-owned small businesses.
