Dr. Katie believes that health is not a destination but a journey, and acknowledges the beautiful human potential within. A perpetual student for life, she constantly strives to better herself as a chiropractor and person. Dr. Katie attended the highly revered Life Chiropractic College West in Hayward, CA, receiving a Doctorate of Chiropractic degree in 2016. While at Life West, she was named 2015 Student of the Year for her commitment to service and leadership within the community.
Dr. Katie is extremely involved in the profession through various organizations, seminars, and is up-to-date with pediatric and prenatal wellness. She is also Webster certified, which is a specific chiropractic technique for pregnancy.
Dr. Katie lives with her fiancée Lindsay and has a passion for supporting the LGBT community, Hillcrest and neighboring communities, as it gave her a sense of self as a young person while growing up in San Diego. As a family chiropractor, Dr. Katie is committed to supporting individuals and families on their path to optimal health and well-being.
