Over the years, I've had a lot of gear that seemed essential when I bought it. Then the more I went out exploring, the more I realized that some of it never got used.
This week, I wanted to talk through some of the things that I've changed with the gear that I bring on trips. What have I stopped bringing and what have I done to keep the same level of readiness without all the extra or unnecessary gear?
