Mercedes Terrance, owner an operator of Sovereign Ink Tattoo, right here in Akwesasne is a cool cat. By day she creates some of the finest tattoo art in the region, and by night she's fighting the injustices of the world.

No one travels the highways of turtle Island more than truckers and indigenous people, and Mercedes exemplifies this tradition as she shares some tales of cross country shenanigans, building community and inking beauty along the way, all the while bringing the direct action training to the people
