For Jeff Bridges, Doing ‘Old’ Was Something New For Him

While Jeff Bridges has maintained an active movie career for the past five decades, his television career has been spotty at best — he’s only acted in two television projects, both of them made-for-TV films, in the last 40 years. So it was a bit of a surprise to learn he’d taken a starring role in The Old Man, which aired its first season two years ago and is now in its second season. Considering the fact that he’s only been making films for many, many years, we asked him whether he could apply that approach to shooting a series, or whether he was having to adjust to a different way of doing things. The Old Man airs Thursday nights on FX and is currently streaming on Hulu.
