In our final podcast on Jonah we will see how this story continues to surprise us! The pagan non-believers acknowledge God and repent, but the prophet, Jonah ends up being more like an anti-prophet and continues to see God’s mercy and abounding love as evil and God’s judgment as a personal tool that he can wield at his enemies without regard for their repentance.
