April marks National Volunteer Month here in the United States, a time to honor volunteers and encourage people to get involved in their communities. The Alamo is open 364 days a year, welcoming an average of 1.6 million visitors, including 155,000 school-aged children.
Today we reveal how volunteers help inform those visitors from all over the world, the training opportunities available from Alamo Experts, and how you can get involved. Featuring the Alamo's Director of Living History & Public Programs Angela Wolfgram, the Alamo's Volunteer Manager Kevon Hunter, and Alamo Living Historian Magee Cuevas.
