Lauren Hunter shares her painful journey of growing up in and then leaving a religious cult known as Christian Science. She gives us hope that it is possible to leave a controlling group and that we have the resilience to do so and live much better and fulfilling lives. Lauren is the author of two books. The first is titled Leaving Christian Science: 10 Stories of New Faith in Jesus Christ where she shares her story and the stories of 9 others who were able to leave the religious cult and develop a renewed faith in Jesus. Her second book is titled Write Your Journey: A Step-by-Step Guide to Write Your Life Story Fast. In this book, she helps you to write your own personal story, centering on powerful themes that will encourage and motivate others.
